Every initiative we launch is crafted to strengthen our community and alleviate some of the stress inhibiting our children from reaching their fullest potential.
Our Mission & Values
Our mission is to improve the speech, academic reading levels, science, and mathematic comprehension of Black Americans in Indianapolis to aid in an overall growth in STEM employment in the following ways:
Improving Standardized Scoring
Standardized testing proves competency in students so that the state knows that the students are prepared for the next grade.
Improving Reading Levels
Students need to be able to read in order to filter the information they consume on a daily basis efficiently.
Improving Grades
A students grades are a representation of progress. The better the grades get over time the more progression we are making.
Promoting Public Speaking for kids
The top people in the country have the ability to converse with large groups of people to convey a message, this skill is essential.
Improving Children’s Confidence in Learning
Kids are not lazy they are frustrated with the material. Instilling confidence in them will raise their belief in themselves to be better.
Provide Mentorship
There are people out here already living our children’s dreams. Connecting them to those people gets them closer to their dreams.

A dedicated scholar who owes her success to the learning she received early in her childhood. Passionate about changing the stigma black people face because of the illiteracy crisis in her community.
Steven Cox
Co-Founder & Vice President
A forever learner who is enthusiastic about collaboration and thoughtful communication. His personal experience with learning within the institutions in Marion County is what makes him passionate about the mission.
